Soon after taking over the base that used to be Grond's home, it was under siege by mutated creatures and people who followed Grond like a cult leader. Many of the irradiated followers were already dying, but they made it their mission to attack humans and drag them further into the "hot zones"		Kaufman was given wide levity to do whatever he feels is warranted to complete his mission.
